USFHP One of the Highest-Rated Health Plans in the Nation

Johns Hopkins US Family Health Plan (USFHP) is proud to be accredited by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). USFHP received an overall quality performance rating of 4.5 out of 5 in the NCQA commercial Health Plan Ratings 2026. Each year, the NCQA evaluates health plans on the quality of care patients receive, how happy patients are with their care and health plans’ efforts to keep improving.

Notably, USFHP was rated 5 out of 5 in key categories, including Rating of Care and Rating of Health Plan. We are honored to fulfill our enduring commitment to provide the highest quality care for our members and their families.

NCQA’s Health Plan Report Cards assess more than 90% of the nation’s commercial, Medicare and Medicaid health plans with a focus in areas of patient experience, prevention, equity and treatment. The plan ratings use the combined quality measures from NCQA’s Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS®) Health Outcomes Survey, Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS®) scores, and NCQA Accreditation status.

The NCQA releases its annual ratings to provide consumers with reliable information with which to use in choosing a health plan.
