One of the most popular events in Carroll County, Maryland, the Annual Veterans Celebration of Carroll County, celebrates its third and biggest year of the event on Sunday, May 5, at the Carroll County Farm Museum, 500 S. Center Street in Westminster, Maryland. Johns Hopkins Health Plans will be there as an event sponsor to share information about US Family Health Plan. We are thrilled for the chance to honor our veterans, share in the community excitement and spend a day full of live music, crafts and refreshments and loads of military gear.
Free to all, the Veterans Celebration is geared to giving tribute to our veterans, active-duty military and their families. Veterans will enjoy commemorative gifts, complimentary water and food coupons, and a range of useful veterans’ resources — there’s sure to be something for everyone.
For kids, there will be a Children’s Bounce House along with scavenger hunts, face painting, a Farmyard Friends animal exhibit and more. The celebration will also feature artisan demonstrations by the Farm Museum, lots of food and refreshments, local artists and craft vendors and great live music. And don’t miss the awesome military equipment display, which will include a live military helicopter landing!
